Why we bring people together

Posted on: April 20th, 2026 by Marco Grønnslett

Vingtor is full of people working hard on their own projects or respective companies, with their own deadlines and their own ambitions. That is how it should be. But we also believe something important happens when these people actually meet each other, not just pass each other in the hallway or in the cafè.

That is the reason we regularly arrange gatherings for the tenants and members of Vingtor. Not as a mandatory social programme, but as an opportunity for those who want to get to know the people around them.

This week we brought a full house together for an informal get-to-know-you evening. Over the past months we have welcomed many new tenants, and sharing a building is not the same as knowing one another. The latter takes a little more.

Our experience is that collaboration often starts by chance. A conversation over coffee that becomes a project. A question in the hallway that opens a door. An evening with a quiz and some food that means two people now know each other exists, and what they are working on.

We believe a good working community is something you build over time, and that it starts with saying hello. That is why we keep making space for it.

If you have not been to one of our gatherings yet, we hope to see you at the next one!

A workspace worth showing up for: Flexible co-working in the heart of Stavanger

Vingtor Studio is fully leased. That tells you something about what we have built here, and Work Zone is how you become part of it without a long-term lease.

What is Work Zone?

Work Zone is our co-working offering. You get a modern workspace in an active office community right in the centre of Stavanger, with views of the sea and access to everything Vingtor has to offer.

Pay per day or sign up for a membership. No long-term commitment, no hidden fees.

More than a place to sit

In Work Zone, you work alongside entrepreneurs, consultants, freelancers and growing companies from across Stavanger and the rest of the country. The community is already up and running.

Included with Work Zone access:

  • Modern workstations with fast Wi-Fi
  • Meeting rooms and phone booths
  • Café, lounge and media studio
  • Bike parking, lockers and showers
  • Discounted lunch and coffee deals

Open 7 days a week, 08:00 to 20:00. Børehaugen 1, Stavanger city centre.

A network in motion

At Vingtor, you work in the same building as companies like Maritime Cleantech, Norled and Nysnø. The café and the shared spaces mean you actually meet them, not just know of them.

That is the kind of environment Work Zone gives you access to, from day one.

Meet one of our members! Gi Effektivt

Posted on: March 13th, 2026 by Marco Grønnslett

Kari is a member at Vingtor.

She was recently featured in Aftenbladet in the profile “Kari’s unusual choices.” In the piece she talks about the path she has taken, the decisions she has made and the work she is doing now. It is a clear and honest story about doing things her own way.

She is also part of the work around Gi Effektivt, where she and the people around her focus on directing resources where they have the most impact.

At Vingtor she keeps it simple. She works quietly, stays focused and moves on to the next meeting.

Read the profile in Aftenbladet if you want to know more about her.

A hub for tomorrow’s business community

Posted on: May 22nd, 2025 by Marco Grønnslett No Comments

Modern spaces, flexible solutions, and just a few steps from the sea – and your next business partner.

Vingtor is now opening the doors for more ambitious companies.

“An office is more than just four walls and a desk. We wanted to create a space where people actually want to spend time”

-Marco Grønnslett, Sales and marketing Manager at Vingtor.

From startups to industry giants

Vingtor brings together creative entrepreneurs and solid industry players under one roof – right by the water in Stavanger city centre.

The goal?

Collaboration, knowledge sharing and a work environment where new ideas grow.

“We’re building a meeting place for the future of business in Stavanger,” says Grønnslett.

So what is Vingtor?

Coworking in central Stavanger.

Private offices and flexible desks for 1–6 people. Modern spaces. Ocean view.

More than just an office.

A social and professional hub for ambitious companies. Collaboration, connection, and green growth.

Built for ambitious teams.

Startups, scaleups and fast-growing companies feel right at home here.

Sustainability in action.

Reused buildings, green interiors and top-notch bike facilities – with charging stations and showers.

All-inclusive, right in the city.

Meeting rooms, café, lounge and media studio included. Short distance to the sea, the bus, and your next big idea.

Private offices with everything included
Vingtor Studio still has available units. These private offices on the top floor fit teams of 1–6 people. Modern interior, lush greenery, and a killer view of the fjord.

Tenants also get access to meeting rooms, phone booths, kitchen, printers and social areas.

Downstairs, you’ll find a lounge, a media room and a full-sized conference space – all included, no hidden fees.

“We know companies need to scale quickly. Here, you can do that without changing address” says Grønnslett.

A place where things actually happen

One of the companies thriving at Vingtor is Maritime Cleantech – a national cluster driving green innovation in the maritime sector. With over 150 partners globally, they needed a base that matched their pace.

“Vingtor gives us the right kind of energy. It’s a place where things move” says Øystein Huglen, Head of Tech & Innovation.

With offices in Bergen, Stord and Stavanger, Huglen and his team wanted a flexible, future-friendly space close to the sea. Today they’re two full-time in Stavanger, but frequently host partners and colleagues from across the country.

“The location is fantastic – but it’s the people and companies around us that really make it.

We’re working side-by-side with Norled, Nysnø, NHO and more – and that leads to real synergy” he says.

Minister visits, podcast sessions, and bike lockers

They’ve hosted everything from everyday meetings to high-level visits – including Norway’s Minister of Climate and Environment.

“We used the café and meeting rooms for the minister’s visit. It worked like a charm.”

He also highlights the bike parking and locker rooms:

“I bike to work a lot – being able to shower and change here is a daily luxury.”

Maritime Cleantech has even launched new initiatives from the space – like a podcast in collaboration with Nysnø, recorded right here at Vingtor.

“Everything feels modern and forward-thinking – both in style and setup.

We love it here. And we’re excited to welcome new office neighbours.”

Ready to energise your workday?

Want to join a vibrant coworking space – a buzzing mix of community, creativity and great coffee?

Vingtor offers modern facilities, flexible memberships and a bar/restaurant you’ll actually want to hang out in.
