Vingtor is full of people working hard on their own projects or respective companies, with their own deadlines and their own ambitions. That is how it should be. But we also believe something important happens when these people actually meet each other, not just pass each other in the hallway or in the cafè.
That is the reason we regularly arrange gatherings for the tenants and members of Vingtor. Not as a mandatory social programme, but as an opportunity for those who want to get to know the people around them.
This week we brought a full house together for an informal get-to-know-you evening. Over the past months we have welcomed many new tenants, and sharing a building is not the same as knowing one another. The latter takes a little more.
Our experience is that collaboration often starts by chance. A conversation over coffee that becomes a project. A question in the hallway that opens a door. An evening with a quiz and some food that means two people now know each other exists, and what they are working on.
We believe a good working community is something you build over time, and that it starts with saying hello. That is why we keep making space for it.
If you have not been to one of our gatherings yet, we hope to see you at the next one!
