About the day

Preparedness is about more than a crisis plan in a binder. It is about what each of us does when the power goes out or the water stops running, and about what we manage together when the unexpected hits a whole community.

At Bærekraftsdagen 2026 we look at preparedness from both sides. We think the second side is underrated. Preparedness is rarely built during the crisis itself. It is built day to day, in the relationships between businesses, public bodies and the people who share a place.

Personal preparedness and safety
What should you and your organisation have in place? We cover the concrete things: what the authorities recommend, what actually happens in the first days, and how little it takes to be better prepared than most.

Community and collaboration
No one handles a crisis alone. We look at how business, public bodies and volunteers work together in Rogaland, and what it takes for that collaboration to hold when it matters.
